Pipedrive DATEV interface: won deals as a Buchungsstapel
The app turns won Pipedrive deals into a booking batch file (Buchungsstapel) in DATEV's EXTF format. You review every row, generate the file and hand it to your tax accountant (Steuerberater). An interface by file: the app has no connection to DATEV.
First: the app books the won deal, not an invoice. Pipedrive does not write invoices. If you create your invoices in lexoffice, sevDesk or another program that passes them to DATEV itself, the same revenue would reach your accountant twice. In that case this app is not a fit.
Beta. The Pipedrive connection is built and tested against a simulated Pipedrive, but has not been tried with a real Pipedrive account yet. The Pipedrive Marketplace listing has not been submitted. If the sign-in page does not show "Connect with Pipedrive" yet, the connection is not switched on; write to support@crm-buchhaltung.de.
For businesses only (Unternehmer, § 14 BGB). Free during the beta. The file follows DATEV's interface description for the EXTF format; an import test at a tax accountant's firm is still pending.
| Deal | Belegdatum | Umsatz | Konto / Gegenkonto |
|---|---|---|---|
| Setup, north site | 03.09.2026 | 4.760,00 | 10000 / 8400 |
| Support contract 2027 | 15.09.2026 | 2.380,00 | 10000 / 8400 |
| Licence (USD) | 29.09.2026 | – | monthly rate not published yet |
Rows that cannot be booked unambiguously are flagged and left out of the file. The app never guesses an account or a rate. Column names are DATEV's own, as your accountant sees them.
How it works
Connect
Authorise your Pipedrive account. The app asks for read permissions only: read deals and read contacts. It uses organisations and their address only if you switch on a separate debtor account per customer. The app reads only the deals the connecting Pipedrive user may see, so an administrator, or a user who sees all deals, should connect.Enter your accountant's details
Beraternummer, Mandantennummer, chart of accounts SKR03 or SKR04, fiscal year, net or gross, and for foreign currencies the rate source agreed with your accountant.Map revenue accounts
Each pipeline gets the revenue account your accountant names.Review and export
The app fetches won deals every hour; the Belegdatum is the day the deal was won. Go through the period's bookings, correct them, download the EXTF file.
Who it is for
Companies that run their sales in Pipedrive, do not pass their invoices to the accountant through a program with a DATEV export, and whose tax accountant books in DATEV.
Two questions first, so you do not set it up for nothing:
- Will your accountant import a Buchungsstapel you prepare? Some firms prefer to book from the invoices themselves.
- Do your invoices already reach DATEV another way, for example from lexoffice, sevDesk or through DATEV Unternehmen online? Then the same revenue would arrive twice.

What the app does not do
- No invoices. The deal is booked; no document is created.
- No writing to Pipedrive. The app only reads; there is no export status on the deal for Pipedrive.
- No tax advice, and no decision on how anything should be booked. You set accounts and tax keys with your accountant.
- No exchange-rate choices of its own: deals in other currencies are converted only at the rate source you chose; without one they are flagged, not booked.
- No transfer to DATEV. You pass the file on yourself.
- No credit notes or reversals yet, and no real-time sync (hourly, or at the press of a button).
Data and security
- Runs in Frankfurt am Main (AWS region eu-central-1).
- Pipedrive access tokens stored encrypted; database and backups encrypted.
- No advertising or analytics cookies, no third-party fonts or scripts.
- "Disconnect" revokes access in Pipedrive and deletes all stored data. If the user who connected the app uninstalls it in Pipedrive, we delete the data after 30 days.
A data processing agreement (AVV, in German) is at AVV; more in the privacy policy (in German).
Frequently asked questions
- Does the app create invoices from Pipedrive?
- No. Pipedrive does not create invoices, and neither does the app. It books the won deal. If you write your invoices in a program with its own DATEV export, the same revenue would reach your accountant twice.
- What does my accountant receive?
- A CSV file in DATEV's EXTF format (Buchungsstapel), meant for import into DATEV Rechnungswesen. Belegfeld 1 carries "PD-" and the Pipedrive deal ID. Each file comes with a reconciliation sheet (totals per account and tax key).
- When does a won deal show up in the app?
- The app asks Pipedrive for changed deals every hour. "Reload from Pipedrive" fetches them at once.
- What happens to deals in US dollars or another currency?
- The app converts them to euros at the rate source you chose in setup: the BMF monthly average or the ECB daily rate. Without a chosen source, or while the rate is not published yet, the deal is flagged and not booked.
- Is the app on the Pipedrive Marketplace?
- Not yet. The listing has not been submitted, and the connection has not been tried with a real Pipedrive account yet.
